Enough with the Stigma is teaming up with FirstLink to deliver an informative session tackling mental health stigma and suicide prevention to local high school students, their parents, and volunteers from the Lake Agassiz High School Fishing League. Our objective is to foster a culture where speaking out about mental health struggles is encouraged, whether it's for oneself or for someone else in need. We will equip attendees with knowledge about identifying warning signs of individuals requiring support and how to connect them with the necessary resources.
Additionally, we're proud to announce a financial contribution aimed at ensuring every student interested in joining the fishing team has the opportunity to do so. We're committed to volunteering our time and skills, whether as boat captains or in any other capacity required. We firmly believe that the benefits of fishing, such as being outdoors, staying active, enjoying solitude, and spending quality time with loved ones, are invaluable for maintaining good mental health.
