Enough with the Stigma is a fiscal sponsorship program with Dakota Medical Foundation founded in memory of our 26yr old son Connor who sadly took his life in December 2022.
Our mission is to educate others of the harmful stigma surrounding mental health and to encourage young adults to embrace open conversations about their emotions and struggles that they may be having. We believe it is crucial to challenge the notion that one must be tough and remain silent. We strive to empower individuals to reach out, seek support, and engage in dialogue with trusted individuals or helplines.
We seek to honor Connor's passions by continuing his legacy. We aim to foster a sense of camaraderie among young adults by promoting activities such as fishing, hunting, motorcycling, biking, golf and camping—endeavors that Connor deeply cherished. Additionally, we are committed to extending kindness and compassion to those less fortunate through various acts of kindness.
Through education, awareness, and community engagement, we envision a society where mental health is openly discussed, stigma is eradicated, and no one feels alone or silenced in their struggles. Together, we can inspire hope, create meaningful connections, and change lives for the better.
Be here tomorrow, by talking about it today is our simple approach to how your story should not end.
